//got a few things out of my drafts, but now i have to start getting ready for work. i’ll be around this evening to get some more stuff done~~
Kicking would have probably worked too, now that he thought about it. But then again, he could’ve even climbed up and stolen it back! …Wait, no. He wasn’t Deathscythe.
The crying did its job though. It wasn’t long until the now uncomfortable pilot was holding out the dart to the kid who changed expressions faster than Heero could change clips in a gun. “Really?! Yaaaaay!” He cheered, taking the dart back and practically caressing it.
Holding it close because getting it stolen again was not an option, he glanced up at the pilot. Something was nagging him now. “What did you want it for? You use real bullets, don’t you? Had I not cried, would I have gotten it back someday? Or are you that mean?”
Heero was a little surprised by how quickly Heavyarms’ demeanor changed when he got his bullet back and then again when he turned a suspicious eye up at Heero.
His eyes widened at the accusation. Mean? He wasn’t mean. Sure, he wasn’t always the nicest guy around, but he was never purposefully mean. “Shooting people in the face is dangerous,” he said, crossing his arms defensively. “I took it to teach you a lesson. I didn’t think you’d cry about it…” He paused as a thought occured to him. “Why’d you cry anyway? Don’t tell me that’s the only bullet you have…?”
Ah what a lovely day at the park. The Sun was shining. The birds were singing. Truly picturesque. A perfect day to just be a kid really! Sandrock had already collected dirt and grass stains from all the adventures he had been up to.
Shame he couldn’t really collect any more dirt or grass stains with how he was at the moment. It would seem that after his tenth attempt to climb the large tree he had gotten himself stuck on a branch. All those other times he fell he didn’t get stuck! Why now?! Sighing in defeat Sandrock took the time to admire the very high view. He did get to watch a few birds from up there so it wasn’t so bad.
The boy then decided to call out when someone passed by. “H-Hey! Over here!” …. “Up here! Hellooooo! A little help please?” The boy asked as he kicked and squirmed in hopes of getting free by himself. He was pretty high and the branches around there would not support an adult so, really the only way down was to break the branch and fall.
Heero ran at least once a day, usually early in the mornings, but sometimes he had to wait til later in the day to go. He was on his final lap at the park close to his apartment when he heard the someone calling out for help. He slowed to a stop when he realized what he’d heard and looked around for the source of the voice, retracing his last few steps. He looked up at the tree when the voice called down again and noticed a boy stuck on a branch.
His brows furrowed because the boy seemed familiar but he couldn’t tell for sure from this angle. “What’s wrong?” he called up, panting lightly, and placed his hands on his hips as he continued to peer up at the boy.

A character can still be a great character without being a good person.
In fact, some of the best characters are terrible people.
Because a character’s worth should be based on how complex and interesting they are, not their morality if they were real.
"Thank you." said Shenlong as she gave Heero a small bow. She then entered the pilot’s home and looked around. She then put down her small backpack she had brought and took Tengshe out of it completely. After examining if the dragon plush was alright she looked over to Heero. "I’m sure Wing is alright and hopefully staying out of trouble. I know how much of a handful he can be. He doesn’t mean any ham though.. He’s very clumsy and spontaneous… A dangerous mix if you ask me." She ponders for a moment before chuckling. "I wonder how disastrous things were back when Wing was staying with Doctor J. Can you imagine? Wing around all that sensitive equipment?" Despite how bad it sounded she was sure he had a good relationship with his engineer. She was sure they all did… It was too bad she was a little scared of hers.
Changing the subject she looked over to Heero and asked. “Did you have plans today? Things to do? House cleaning? Work? I can help with some stuff if you want.”
Heero closed the door after she entered and crossed his arms as he watched her look around his apartment then checked on her backpack. He was a little surprised when she tried to reassure him about Wing since Heero wasn’t really worried about him. He knew the boy could take care of himself, and if he did get in trouble, he could get himself out of it, or come find Heero.
A bemused smile lifted the corners of his mouth as she continued to speak. It was amusing to hear her insights on Wing, and imagining Wing giving Dr. J the kind of hell he liked to give Heero was priceless all on it’s own.
"Ah, no, not really," he said with a shake of his head, letting his hands fall to his side. "Just some paperwork, but I can do that later. Is there anything you wanted to do?" he asked, arching an eyebrow at the little girl. She’d put him in a good mood with her words so he wouldn’t mind entertaining her for a little bit.
